DESCRIPTION: The Center for Advanced Aerospace Platforms and Applications (CAAPA) will be presenting on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and the development and opportunities in Florida. CAAPA was established to promote the creation and expansion of space-enabled and space-enabling technologies as applied to the development of unmanned and autonomous vehicles and applications. Florida stands alone as the place to develop, manufacture, test, market, and operate unmanned aerospace systems including spacecraft, UAS, USV, UGV, and AUV as well as employment strategies and applications for these systems.

AMBASSADOR CHORALE TO PERFORM AT THE CURTISS MANSION INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED CHORAL GROUP!
MIAMI SPRINGS, FL – April 5, 2013 - The Ambassador Chorale from Florida Memorial University will appear at the Curtiss Mansion on Thursday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m. to sing a variety of popular songs and selections from contemporary choral literature under the direction of Dr. Melvin White. Since its founding in 1976, the 18-voice Chorale has performed in many international locations as well as a variety of local venues and shared their special brand of music to standing ovations and international acclaim.
Make plans to enjoy the beautiful blend of well-trained voices and the elegance of the Curtiss Mansion under the stars in the restored central Courtyard, weather permitting; otherwise, the performance will be held in the living room. Bring your family and friends for what is certain to be a phenomenal performance and another outstanding evening at the Mansion.
The suggested donation for the performance is $10 adults, $5 students and seniors and $2 children under 12. The presentation, part of the Curtiss Mansion After-Dinner Lecture Series, will take place at the Glenn H. Curtiss Mansion, 500 Deer Run in Miami Springs.
